Just a few days back, some renders of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A17 made their way online, and today, we spotted both the 5G and 4G versions listed by a European retailer, complete with pricing details.
Now, even more juicy information about the A17 has surfaced, along with some fresh, official-looking renders and a bunch of promotional materials. These sources reveal that the A17 5G will actually be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1330 SoC, not the 1380 that was previously speculated.
The newly leaked renders of the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G show off some exciting features.
This phone will come with 128GB of storage and options for 4, 6, or 8GB of RAM, plus a 256GB variant with 8GB of RAM. It will support MicroSD cards of up to 2TB. The device measures 164.4 x 77.9 x 7.5 mm and weighs in at 192g.
It boasts a 6.7-inch 1080×2340 Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch, a smooth 90 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,100 nits, and Gorilla Glass Victus for protection. The camera setup includes a triple rear system (50 MP main with OIS, 5 MP ultrawide, and 2 MP macro), a 13 MP selfie camera, and a robust 5,000 mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging (with a claim that it can go from zero to 50% in just 30 minutes). You can expect color options in blue, black, and gray.

The leaked promo materials for the Samsung Galaxy A17 reveal an interesting twist regarding the chipset.
It’s also IP54 certified for dust and splash resistance, and Samsung promises 6 major Android updates along with 6 years of security patches. Just a heads up, it will launch with Android 15, so the first of those updates will be Android 16. The back of the phone is made from glass fiber reinforced polymer, which is said to be stronger than the “Glastic” used in the A16 5G.
Inside the box, you’ll find a 25W charger, a USB Type-C cable, a SIM ejection tool, and a Quick Start Guide. Keep in mind that whether the charger is included may vary by market.
